Teriyaki Noodles

This absolutely delicious teriyaki noodles recipe serves 2 and each serving contains 577kcal, 37.5g protein, 86.8g carbs and 11.2g fat.


You will need:

190g packet of yaki-soba noodles

2 tbsp wheat flour

40ml soy sauce

20g brown sugar

1 garlic clove

1/2 tbsp grated ginger

1 tbsp honey

2 chicken thighs

1/2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp sesame seeds

1 green onion (optional)


Then follow these steps:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add 120ml water, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and honey. Bring to a simmer
  2. Add flour until sauce thickens enough to cost the back of the spoon and then let to cool to room temperature
  3. Meanwhile, chop your chicken thighs into bite size chunks
  4. Once the marinade has cooled, place into a bowl with the chicken and combine well. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes
  5. Once the marinade is ready, cook your noodles to the packet instructions
  6. Heat olive oil in frying pan over medium heat and add the marinade. Fry until chicken is cooked
  7. Turn to low heat and add the noodles and mix well
  8. Serve into a bowl and sprinkle over sesame seeds (and a green onion if you wish)
  9. Enjoy!
