Fun Run Helped Us Raise Money For Local Charity

charity fun run

WOW what a day Saturday was. We managed to raise £120 for charity completing the Gung Ho 5km obstacle course.

A handful of clients and I signed up to complete this challenge all in aid of raising money for Hope Against Cancer.

For one of our clients, completing a challenge like this was on her bucket list, so on her first session with us I managed to sign her up as a goal to aim for. She did amazing!! No stop breaks, was continuous movement throughout and the whole group was so supportive of each other.

“Team work makes the dream work”

Some of the obstacles were tough and we had to help pull and push each other up and over, was so much fun and it was a chance for clients to get to know each other too.

We all stuck together throughout and finished at the same time sliding head first into a huge foam pit!

I’m so thankful as a coach that I managed to get a team together to do this, it’s such a great sense of achievement for people to complete something like this. It was so much fun and everyone’s already asking me to sort out the next one.

I just want to thank everyone who sponsored us to do this event, we certainly appreciate it and it’s all for a great cause.
