Charity Fundraising Success

Our charity fundraising event on Saturday was a huge success.

We raised just over £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support and we couldn’t have done this without the support from our clients and friends that came along to our 2 hours event of coffee and cake.

To put a fitness twist on our event we held a free group training session at 2pm and we had 5 participants which was fantastic. 3 of which were non members to the studio so we were very pleased that we could offer that free session in helping raise money for such a great charity.

We also asked Manu from Function Jigsaw to join us on the day and offer free massage tasters for any of the guests. He was back to back with people jumping in for a taster. Two of our clients realised the benefit that much they have booked in to visit their clinic at a later date. They are based on Long Street in Wigston. www.functionjigsaw.co.uk

We were also offering free blood pressure checks too as just the week before we prevented an event from happening due to taking a persons blood pressure before starting his first exercise session, where we found it to be too high to participate.

He is now on beta blockers to bring his blood pressure down so we are just thankful we were there to help him.

All in all we would like to thank everyone for attending our charity event for Macmillan Cancer Support and also for those that baked us some cakes.

Would also like to say a huge thank you to Zephs Cafe based in Oadby as they kindly donated cupcakes and scones for us and also The Cake Club in Leicester City Centre for their delicious cupcakes and carrot cake.
